I wonder whether the Swordfish knight actually used his wish afterall? If so...was it to boost up Yuuhi or did he have something else in mind? If he actually chose to boost up Yuuhi and he was all knowing...then does that mean he would know that Yuuhi might decide to save the orld afterall and would have to turn on the princess?

Or maybe he saw that they would both have a change of heart need all the power they could get to beat the biscuit hammer? Hmmm intriguing.

I had not considered that, I don't know if it's within the totem animals power to grant, but you may be right. Nice theory! (Unless he wished for a "different kind of happy ending" that kind is probably within the totem animals power to grant. ) XD

If anything, this series introduces some very interesting characters, then kills them off with a few episodes. Inachika Akitani was the fastest, introduced and died in the same episode.

Funny thing is, this series has a 24 Ep run, but seems like they are trying to wrap up in 3. Guess we gonna see how this turns out.

Akitani was pretty fucking based. That was a heavy scene of him by the tree recalling each and every apprentice he had trained over his 500 years...😭

People literally hate on this show for no real reason. Most of the time the animation is on point, and episodes like this absolutely make up for any let downs there may have been previously.

Shishou was such a good character. This series is also getting even better.

I think I'd like to see a manga or anime story about the Master. A Prequel to this anime. It seemed like he was always humble, despite being able to do anything. Each of his students meant the world to him, because even though he knew everything, they constantly taught him something.

I like the fact that the beast warrior and the mage are not the sole super natural elements of the story

The main plot is kind of trash, but the sub-plots are decent. Last episodes was nice and this one's was really nice.
Even though he had knowledge and power associated with a monotheistic god, he was still human. He lived his life being a master (akin to father figure) to many people/children. The pact wish last episode with making sure her family dies smiling, and this one not using it because his wish was already being granted, was truly nice and wholesome. The grandpa wish threw me the hell off and the transmit skills wish threw me off too since went to trash MC.

The Master is definitely the one of the most important character of this series, even if he had to die early in the show.
